jadi gini,..waktu itu aku beli VGA dengan chips set NVIDIA setelah aku pasang di kompi yang sudah terpasang sistem operasi linux ubuntu 8.10
kok driver VGA nya gag ada,..coba pakai system -> administration->hadware Drivers ternyata disitu disediain vitur donlot VGA automatis,..

eh,..lha dalah,..setelah ditungguin berjam2 malah gag mau alias error,.setelah bertapa akhirnya nemuin caranya yaitu,..


bentar sabar isap rokok dulu,..cape nie ngetiknya,.

1.masuk kedalam sistem operasi linux kalian,..

2.tekan tombol CTRL+ALT+F1 jangan kaget karena tampilan GUI nya hilang,..itu hal wajar,..klo gag hilang malah gag wajar,..wkwkwkkw,..jangan panic dulu,,..kita lanjutkan,..

3.setelah masuk kedalam konsole mode loginlah menggunakan user anda
4.login kedalam root mode dengan cara ketikkan perintah $ sudo su
isi password root anda
setelah anda login sebagai root ketikkan perintah
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop (perintah ini berfungsi menghentikan x server ato apalah namanya aku gag paham)
5.masuk kedalam direktori driver anda simpan
6.ketikkan perintah : sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.36-pkg1.run(nams sesuaikan dengan driver yang anda donlot)
7.ikuti petunjuk pada saat instalasi,.. :D lups aku petunjukknya apa aja,..keknya tinggal pilih yes no yes no aja kok,.
setelah selesai jangan lupa syukuran,..ekekkeke

8.setelah semuanya berjalan lancar ketikkan perintah berikut unutk kembali kedalam GUI mode
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm start
chek system-> preference-> jika disitu ada NVDIA X server setting berarti instalasi driver berjalan sukses,..jangan lupa syukuran kepada tuhan,..hehehehe
